Paddle Monster ("Paddle Monster," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Paddle Monster, Inc., a company incorporated in North Carolina, USA. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you visit paddlemonster.com or join our community.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information needed to run the Paddle Monster community and coaching service:
- Account information: name and email address, collected when you join our community through Mighty Networks, our community hosting platform.
- Payment information: we do not collect or store any billing or payment card information. All subscription payments are processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. Paddle Monster never sees or stores your card number, billing address, or other payment details.
- Community activity: posts, comments, and content you choose to share inside the community are hosted and stored by Mighty Networks on our behalf.
- Website usage information: paddlemonster.com does not currently use analytics or tracking tools. We plan to add Google Analytics soon; when we do, this section will be updated to describe the standard technical information collected (browser type, pages visited, general location).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:
- Provide access to the Paddle Monster community, coaching content, and member features
- Communicate with you about your membership, including onboarding, updates, and support
- Send our newsletter, if you have subscribed (via MailerLite)
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of our community
3. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Data
Paddle Monster does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or any other purpose. We do not share your information except with the service providers described below, who process it strictly on our behalf to operate the service.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on the following third-party services to operate Paddle Monster. Each operates under its own privacy policy and terms, which we encourage you to review:

Because Mighty Networks and Stripe are independent companies with their own privacy practices, we encourage you to review their policies directly. Paddle Monster is a separate legal entity from Mighty Networks, Inc.; Mighty's practices are governed by their own privacy policy, not this one.
5. Cookies
paddlemonster.com does not currently use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. We plan to add Google Analytics in the near future; when we do, this section will be updated to describe what's collected, and a cookie consent notice will be added for EU/UK visitors as required under GDPR/PECR.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as you are an active member. If you cancel your membership, your Mighty Networks account data is retained or deleted according to Mighty Networks' data retention practices. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 8).
7. Children's Privacy
Paddle Monster is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Privacy Rights
If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., unsubscribe from our newsletter)

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of that information, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Paddle Monster does not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. To make a request, contact us at info@paddlemonster.com.
All members
Regardless of location, you can update your account information anytime inside Mighty Networks, unsubscribe from our newsletter via the link in any email, or contact us directly to ask what information we hold and request its deletion.
9. Data Security
We rely on Mighty Networks and Stripe, both of which maintain industry-standard security practices, to protect the data they hold on our behalf. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Data Transfers
Because Paddle Monster serves members globally, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Paddle Monster, you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Paddle Monster after changes means you accept the updated policy.
