Paddlers of all different abilities, levels, and time commitments will have a weekly program that will fit their goals. The weekly on-water plan will have technique drills and strength and power training plans coinciding with each week’s training programs. Members can then ask questions and share their experiences with the training community.

Coach Teneale Hatton will prepare weekly plans for Novice, Intermediate and Advanced, Northern & Southern Hemisphere and Warm Climate paddlers. The weekly on-water programs include technique work and work in concert with Coach Chris Chapman’s Surfski and Kayak-specific strength program. Members can then ask questions and share their experiences with the training community on the Paddle Monster platform.
A perennial Top 10 standup paddle racer and SIC Maui team rider, is joining the Paddle Monster coaching squad for the 2018 paddle season.
A native of the Florida Keys, Seychelle has always had a deep connection to the water. She has a US Coast Guard Masters license and was an accomplished sailor before discovering Stand Up Paddleboarding in 2013. She is also a registered yoga instructor and personal trainer.
Coach Seychelle will have four different paddle training groups: Three levels for warm-climate paddlers including Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner; And a fourth group focused on long, paddle-endurance races.
Coach Chris Chapman will prepare weekly land-based strength and power plans for novice, intermediate and advanced paddlers with options for both gym and non-gym/home training. We will have video demonstrations of the exercises in the video library and linked to the weekly plans. Members can then ask Coach Chris questions on the forum and share their experiences with the training community.
