Thanks for the post! I have a Starboard 12’6″ All Star & will try the different fin positions to see if they make a difference in my buoy turns.
Pushing that fin all the way forward will help. Also, different fins are better at different things. For buoy turns, I like the Futures triangle cutaway, but for flatwater racing without buoy turns, I go to a Futures small keel fin. It’s fun to try out different fins and configurations to see what works best for you.
