We’re at the 2015 Payette River Games at Kelly’s Whitewater Park in Cascade, Idaho. Dan Gavere walks us through the day’s festivities: Mostly practicing the course and the skills. The pros are working ferrying mostly, hitting the dreaded “hole” to get downriver and trying to reconcile the surf vs river mentality.
