Another pro paddler is changing boards- today’s news comes from Olivia Piana, who has been a Starboard Team rider. She’s signed on with relative newcomer 425Pro-the boardmaker out of Tahiti and the team of Georges Cronsteadt.

Here’s the note from Olivia announcing her change:

I would like to tell you I’m super happy to join 425pro ! Coincidences of life gave me an exceptional opportunity : participate in the development of the boards. One of our goals is to make Race boards for people weighing less than 70kg. This opportunity is amazing as women and I’m really grateful about it. I want to learn about shapes and to find new ideas for our sport. It’s also a way to propose new boards for women !

I’m grateful for the support given by Starboard, which has allowed me to come back to the highest level since 2016.
