Dan Gavere, the newest Kanahas ambassador
It’s official, someone stuck the chocolate in the peanut butter. Two things we love at the Mullet, now bonded with a sweet partnership: Dan Gavere and Kanahas. If you don’t know Kanahas, check them out here. They make one of my FAVORITE SUP ACCESSORIES, the Transition Towel. Everyone should own 2.
Here’s the press release:
Kanahas is excited to announce that Dan Gavere has joined our Ohana as brand ambassador to help spread the word of the Kanahas brand of standup paddle apparel and gear.
Dan’s honors and awards include three time National Whitewater Standup Paddle Champion, and winner of King of the Beach at the California Paddle Festival. He is an ASI Trainer, and ACA Level 3 Whitewater SUP and ACA Level 1 and 2 SUP Instructor. You will find him sharing his expertise at the SUP race paddle clinics all across North America.
Connection and Collaboration
Dan shares the Kanahas passion for SUP and our commitment to connecting with others who enjoy being on and around the water. In addition to Kanahas, Dan also represents Trident Sports/Starboard North American, Outside Vans, Astral Buoyancy Company, and Teva Shoes. Through our collaboration, paddlers can look forward to regular features from Dan on our blog and lots of new places to find Kanahas gear to help express their love of SUP.
When he’s not paddling, you are likely to find Dan peddling as he is also an avid mountain biker. Dan enjoys challenging his SUP skills on the Hood River in Oregon. Best of all, Dan is a very genuine person who enjoys living a simple life and is happy to be traveling and doing what he loves.
Dan said, “Sharing the Kanahas story and helping in their mission to support the SUP community is an awesome opportunity.”
Dan is out there livin’ the SUP life every day and is always eager to share his knowledge and skills with others. We are SUPer stoked to have him as part of the Kanahas Ohana to help spread the Aloha spirit in the SUP community. You’re sure to see sim traveling around in his radical black and green van. Be sure to say, “Aloha Dan”!
