First look at the 2015 Hobie Prone Paddleboard Line

Mark Johnson from Hobie walks us through the 2015 Hobie Prone Paddleboard line. There are three 12′ prone paddleboards in the series. The first 2 are pintails: The Cloud PRO is narrower and has a more rounded bottom for more advanced racers. The Cloud is wider, more stable, much easier to knee-paddle.

The Surf model has a square “Dolphin” tail and a flat bottom to the middle with a rounded nose. There are handles on the top back and top front and one on the side. This is more of a planing version, surfs great and is fun in the bumps—on a downwind. All the prones are custom made in Dana point factory in the same shaping bay as the Hobie raws.
