7 Mile Elite Race; 3 Mile Rec Race; Kids Dolphin Dash Race; All Board Classes Welcome
Join us in the glassy calm waters of Safety Harbor in the Tampa Bay for an exciting day of paddling and water festivities for everyone! This is more than just a race – great food, drinks, music, waterslides and much more!
What kind of paddling settings and conditions will racers face?

What makes your event great? What will paddlers love about coming to your event?
Aside from great competition with hundreds of paddlers from around the world, our racers tell us they keep coming back for our VIP treatment. Racers receive gifts, food, beer, massages, and lots of other goodies all day long! It’s a race, it’s a party, and best of all – it’s for a good cause, to raise awareness and education for newborn screening programs. Stand up for newborn screenings and save babies’ lives!
Will there be any clinics and what are the details?

Where can people get paddle gear like PFDs and Hydration packs?
Racers must bring their own gear, as well as PFD’s and Hydration packs.
Are there paddleboard rentals available and if yes, where? Contact info?

Where can people buy groceries?
The starting line is at the waterfront park in downtown Safety Harbor…there are a number of restaurants and retailers within walking distance of the event that you can buy additional food and drinks.

The Sandwich on Main, Green Springs Bistro, Bar Fly
Where is the best coffee in town?
Cafe Vino Tinto is at the corner of Main Street/7th Ave N; Starbucks is also on Main Street and will be providing coffee to racers at the event.
Does your event benefit a charity and if so, can you tell us about them?
Paddle The Bay races are fundraisers for the organization Paddle For Kids Corp. Paddle For Kids is a 501c3 non-profit organization who raises awareness for newborn screenings & programs created for identifying early childhood disorders. You can learn more at www.paddleforkids.org
