Can you describe the different races and courses?
Our course is on the Cumberland River in the heart of downtown Nashville. Start and finish are the same spot: In front of Nissan Stadium, where the NFLs’ Tennessee Titans play. We have a two-mile course (one loop) and a six-mile (three loops.)
What kind of paddling settings and conditions will racers face?
This is a flatwater race, with loops up and down river. You may have current and wind.
What makes your event great? What will paddlers love about coming to your event?
Nashville is one of the hottest cities in the country and we’re at the center of the action. You’ll paddle downtown along the skyline, have an awards ceremony with a view and then walk across the bridge for an after party.

Are there paddleboard rentals available and if yes, where? Contact info?
Yes, Nashville Paddle Co., Paddle Up TN and SUPFit are all local outfitters who are helping to put on the race and have boards for rent for $35.
Where can people buy groceries?
Kroger and Publix are our main grocery stores. The Turnip Truck is an independent health food grocery store in East Nashville, not far from the race launch.

What great local restaurants can you recommend?
Acme Feed & Seed is hosting the after party. In East Nashville nearby is Two Ten Jack, Rose Pepper and Wild Cow (vegetarian).
