Can you describe the different races and courses?
On Sunday July 2, 2017 Madeline LeBlanc will be paddling 10km down the Welland Canal and is encouraging others to join her. At 2:00 pm the paddling journey will start at the Pen Financial Credit Union Flatwater Centre at the end of Thorold Road. From there, participants will paddle to the Welland International Flatwater Centre, then turn around and head back to the Pen Financial Credit Union Flatwater Centre. At the starting point, one of On Board’s sponsors, Ausmosis Board Works, will host a free SUP demo day for people to try paddle boarding.

What makes your event great? What will paddlers love about coming to your event?
The event is free, so there no registration fee required. The event is all about having fun paddling 10km and honouring Julia Turner, Lynn Lambert, Dalton Jacques and McKenna Modler. Paddlers will love the beauty of the Welland Canal and bringing together the paddling community for something awesome!
Will there be any clinics and what are the details?
A free SUP demo will be hosted at the starting point. So for those who have never stepped on a paddle board, this is the chance to do so!
Where can people get paddle gear like PFDs and Hydration packs?
Paddlers are encouraged to bring their own gear. Water will be available at the event for those to fill up their hydration packs.

Yes, with the Welland Canal Corporation, at the starting point (Pen Financial Credit Union Community Flatwater Centre).
