What kind of paddling settings and conditions are near your shop? Remember – we need all the details!! Make us want to paddle there!
We have the beautiful Mission Bay Aquatic Park, within one mile of our shop and San Diego Bay within six miles. We have light to no wind in the morning, which makes for ideal paddling conditions. The ocean is only five miles from the shop and we have surf all year long. The weather in San Diegop averages about 70 degrees and the water temps vary from a low of about 56 to around 72 in the summer time. There are many paddle groups in town including five outrigger clubs on Mission Bay alone.
What is it about paddling that gets you up in the morning? That gets you excited? We REALLY want to know!
A quick bit of excercise, a bit of social paddling and or pure solitude when you need it.
Describe your local paddle community. When do you get together and what are they like?
The paddle community as a whole is one of a close knit family. One of our vendors has a saying,”If you paddle, you get it” You can be an outrigger, prone or stand up paddler and be welcomed wherever you go.
