2020 VPL Results

The 2020 Virtual Paddle League and Paddle Monster are excited to announce the results of the 2020 Virtual Paddle League Race Series!
First and foremost, we want to congratulate all participants for putting in time for the sport they love, committing time for themselves, and ultimately in some cases against the odds, getting on the water and paddling with a purpose in what is sure to go down as one of the most difficult years in all our collective memories.
The Virtual Paddle League was created by the team at Paddle Monster to keep people motivated, give them a goal, and keep them racing, even when there were no races. We feel like we accomplished our goal, we hope you feel like we did too.
The Results – And How We’ll Present Them
The results, which are represented by craft, race, and gender, are quite extensive and represents the fastest performers in each race category from around the world. The winners and results will be posted over the next week or so, daily, race by race starting with the shortest to the longest race. This approach will allow us to concentrate on each race, call out observations, exceptional performers, and what we learned about the paddling community from each event.
The Paddle Monster team is super excited about the paddle league, as not only did it distract us from the many race cancelations last year, but it allows us to grow our community and still participate in the sport we hold so dearly. The Facebook group interactions were a big success with tons of posts, feedback, smack-talking, and everything you would come to expect from a race and the Paddle Monster community. Most of all, it allowed us to see our friends, both old and new, from around the globe sharing a common set of goals.
