Southern Stoke Paddle Series Opens with Choo Choo Chase
Choo Choo River Race set for April 6 in ‘Nooga
Get ready for the third annual Choo Choo Chase River Race on April 6, 2019 in Chattanooga, TN – the season opener for the Southern Stoke Paddle Series. Course options include a 7 mile, 2.5 mile, and kids race, with divisions for rec boards (short course only), sup 14′ and under (both courses) and an open class (long course only). Open crafts that build a class of 5 or more registering before 4/1 will be pulled out of Open and awarded as a standalone division. SUP classes qualify for Southern Stoke Paddle Series points. Paddler premiums include custom pint glass, tri blend tees (see deadlines), and catered lunch onsite and division awards.
Held at beautiful and historic Booker T. Washington State Park, the race is organized by and benefiting Wild Trails, a nonprofit promoting healthy lifestyles through outdoor activities and working to protect, preserve, expand and maintain these natural spaces.
Register by March 15, Friday for tri-blend race tee included with registration.
