Classique SUP Roussillon – Roussillon SUP Classic

Hey what’SUP paddlers!?

The 3rd edition of the Roussillon SUP Classic will take place at the Châteauguay Nautical Point (QC), on July 6 & 7, 2024.

During the whole weekend, activities will be organized in conjunction with the Châteauguay Nautical Festival. Nearly 3,000 festival-goers are expected and at least 100 SUP participants. The invitation is open to everyone, young and old, beginners and experts, inflatable and hard boards! The various courses will lead participants along the Châteauguay River, to its mouth on the majestic Lake Saint-Louis, and around the beautiful St-Bernard Island.

Participants can register for 3 different races: 10 km-competitive, 5km -recreational or competitive, and a 500m technical sprint. This year, we are introducing the SSC Triple Crown series , in honour of a great athlete from the region who passed away in 2023 due to cancer.

Throughout his life, Sylvain St-Cyr (SSC) was an inspiration to many athletes and a true role model for his students. To win the title, racers will have to compete against the best paddlers and accumulate points for each podium.

On-site accommodation is available for free, but there is no electricity. So bring-your-own-tent, sleep in your car, van, RV, or stay cozy at the Manoir D’Youville on St-Bernard Island!
